Our Vision & Mission

Our desire is to bring living water, the water of life wherever the Lord sends us and to continue to dig wells with clean water to those who are now traveling many kilometers for a bucket of water. Our vision is to evangelize, to set up conferences and to do as much as possible to change the lives of those in Africa towards the better.

Our VisionMeasures

Our desire is to bring living water, the water of life wherever the Lord sends us and to continue to dig wells with clean water to those who are now traveling many kilometers for a bucket of water. Our vision is to evangelize, to set up conferences and to do as much as possible to change the lives of those in Africa towards the better.

By sponsoring children to go to school. These children can be taught spiritually and academically so that they can then change the lives of those in their country and teach others of God’s way. Discipleship, spiritual growth, evangelism, leadership.

By making medical centers and medicine available for the sick. There is a lack of medical staff and there are no nearby hospitals. Our goal is to make these investments so that they have the means to sustain themselves.

By building houses and making basic needs available. The need food, clothing and mattresses, as they are currently sleeping on the ground. We are also looking to make a center to fit more missionaries. They need a place to stay so that they can fully engage in helping the people grow spiritually as well as helping with what is necessary. We would like to enhance their lives by developing irrigation and solar systems, by planting fruit trees and making gardens.

Our History

Forever Aqua Mission – Uganda is a nonprofit organization based in Uganda. It was started by Marian and Rodica Volintiru together with Ivan Twinobusigye. This organization has been a blessing to many African countries and especially to the less privileged Karamajongo people in North Eastern Uganda.

Karamoja is a region that is comprised of seven districts which include, Kotido, Moroto, Abim, Napak, Kabong, Nakapiripirit, and Amudat with a population of more than 2.5 million people.

The region has been facing a problem of acute lack of water and food that has made thousands of people and animals lose their lives and very poor education. As the Bible says in Deuteronomy 15:10-11, “You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake. For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore, I command you, You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.”

Build Wells.

We have been able to build 54 water wells in the region as of May 2022. Each water well is used by approximately one thousand people per 24 hours (day and night). These few water wells are overcrowded and over used by both people and their animals meaning there is still much need to build more wells in the region.

Supply Materials.

We have been able to supply food, soap, clothes, mattresses, beddings, scholastic materials and other house hold materials to the people in this region.

Evangelize

We have preached the gospel to hundreds of people and we have been able to baptize 5 people who accepted Jesus Christ for their very first time in Iriri village – Napak district. They were very excited to see the water well and they believed God can turn their lives around. Hundreds of people have also given their lives to Christ gradually whenever we go for missions.
This is how big your donations have changed lives for Christ.

Missionaries

Forever Aqua Mission (FAMU) is a nonprofit organization based in Uganda that was started by Rodica Volintiru, Marian Volintiru and Ivan Twinobusingye.

I was born in 1964 in Zorleni-Vaslui Romania to a Christian family. I graduated from Marine High School in Galati. In 1985 I started traveling and visited over 40 countries. Having a strong desire to change my spiritual and financial life along with having a desire to help the poor, I ran off the ship I was traveling within 1993 and remained in Canada. That same year, while in Canada, I met a Romanian girl who was visiting her sister.

One year later we got married. Although we both came from Christian families, neither of us were living the way God wanted us to. At that time I felt God telling me to seek Him and know Him. I felt the need to stop living in a form of religion and start a personal relationship of love with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. During this time, God has blessed us with four children, two boys, and two girls.

In our search for God, something miraculous had happened. My wife was seeking and thirsting after God, and God had spoken to her. God filled her with abundant love, a passion, and flame burning for God and those lost in the world. Following this supernatural encounter, her life was transformed completely. God had then called her to take many days of fast and pray for different situations and countries such as Romania and Africa. In 2007, God called my wife to a 40 day and 40 nights fast with water alone, and to ask God to bring a revival in Romania and all the Romanian communities across the world. I also fasted and prayed with my wife, but ate each night.

Shortly afterward, God has spoken to us clearly and in detail to go on a mission to Romania. In the first year of the mission, we visited many cities and God has opened up many doors. With passion and love for this broken world, we visited thirty churches, many prisons, orphanages, and the streets telling people about the Word of God. Every year God would speak to my wife and call her to set aside 40 days of fasting to prepare us for a new mission in Romania.

God has opened more doors for missions in Europe and Africa: Uganda, Central African Republic. Kenya, Malawi. With God’s help and the financial support of many Romanian communities we were able to reach many people in the African countries: providing food, clothes, sponsoring children to go to school, orphanages, etc.

In 2015 we were invited to a large convention in Kampala, Uganda where God has opened a door and helped us understand the needs of the Karamojong tribe. This tribe was in desperate need of water and food. We then prayed to see if its Gods will for us to help them. Almost immediately God had touched the hearts of the Romanian people and a fund was raised to dig a well. In 2016 God continued to work in His miraculous ways and more money was raised to dig the other three wells and in a period of three years now we have 24 water wells in Karamoja and people are now drinking clean water. Praise the Lord.
Marian Volintiru
Director

Having been born in a very humble Christian family of seven in 1988 in Kanungu District – Southwestern Uganda, God has surely been a leader in my life. I have graduated with a Master’s degree in management studies (Project planning and management), A post-graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. With this education I acquired, I had never paid any money for it because my parents and I couldn’t manage to raise it. I was being helped by different people around me. After my High school, that’s when I changed my lifestyle and strengthened my relationship with God to help me through and provide for me tuition fees to join University. There is a verse that I prayed and have always been my prayer from 2007 up to date that reads – “The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top never at the bottom, Deuteronomy 28:13. I have always prayed to God to make me the head not the tail such that I can be exemplary and be able to help and encourage others. Having been helped by different people in my life – I got inspired to always pray and help where I can the less privileged people around me. One of my Sponsors Mom Victoria Allanson has always challenged me to use the education I have acquired to be an inspiration to all the young men I meet and to be a Godly leader that will change the face of Africa for his Glory – something I have always prayed for that I have to fulfill.
In the fall of 2015, God touched my heart regarding the mission that was taking place in Karamoja. During one of Marian and Rodica Volintiru’s visit to Uganda as speakers on some convention, God connected us to start this mission in Karamoja and the whole of Uganda at large. This Godly couple (Marain and Rodica Volintiru) has been very dedicated to this mission together with the Romanian community around the World. I have been living in Uganda since childhood but my first visit to Karamoja was an experience hard to describe in words: poverty, sickness, unmet needs in every aspect that have made their home in Karamoja. Therefore, I want to be a voice to all the suffering and the needy because it’s from this that I came from. Since 2015 after making a strong decision to carry out this mission, we have never looked back, we have built boreholes in all the seven districts that make up Karamoja region (34 boreholes so far in a period of five years), giving food, clothes, soap, and other items to people and sponsoring children to go to school because we believe in raising educated Christian leaders that will change the future of Karamoja and Uganda as a whole. This is an open Godly mission that is aimed at showing God’s love to the less privileged people and everyone is welcome to make a difference in our communities. Remember – GOD is LOVE and LOVE is SHARING and SHARING is CARING. Glory to God
